What Sets Him Apart

Phil knows you have many choices when it comes to hiring a home inspector. However, his specialty training, lifetime of related industry experience, and usage of drone technology provides everything you need to get an inspection report you can rely on. Unlike many other local home inspectors, Phil always uses videos as part of his inspection reports, including drone footage and still shots that capture areas that are not within the human line of sight.

Phil’s Industry Related Experience

Phil’s career in residential construction began at the age of 16 when he worked as a foundation form settler. From there, he went on to spend two years as a residential electrician. Switching gears a bit, he moved to Bakersfield in 2001 to join Kern Valley Hot Shots as a hot shot firefighter. This experience helped him learn the value of hard work, proper planning, and communication, while also building character and integrity.

After spending a few years battling wildland fires, Phil decided to cool things down a bit by working as an HVAC service technician. For four years, he installed new units and controls inside residential new construction projects. Next, he applied these skills for 15+ years as an HVAC technician and maintenance engineer in a hospital facility setting.
